In which states is Amerifund licensed?

Amerifund is rapidly expanding. You can see all the states we currently serve and which states we expect to be in next at We expect to have a nationwide footprint by the end of 2022.

Is Amerifund a Lender?

Amerifund is a mortgage broker by choice. Being a broker promotes complete transparency. We don’t pad our rates or build profit into a rate sheet. What you see is what you get!  

Brokering also gives our team members access to almost every wholesale lender in the country. This enables you to offer just about every loan program to your clients in a variety of qualifying situations. If we don’t have a program and you need it, we’ll expand our offerings to support you and your business.

How is Processing handled?

Amerifund has a team of experienced in-house Processors who will handle your loans from lender submission through closing – including issuing and following up on initial disclosures. Unless you prefer to be the main point of contact, your Sr. Processor will communicate directly with the borrower(s), Closing Agent, Title Company and Real Estate Agents to update them on status and obtain all conditions needed to close your loan. You will only be re-involved if a program, rate or fee question arises which needs your expertise. You can focus on originating loans – which is your highest and best use while being copied on status updates to your clients and referral partners with assurance that they are getting top notch communication and service! 

How are credit reports handled?

Amerifund is set up with a nationwide credit vendor. You will need to create your own sub-account under our company ID and set up direct payment of your credit report invoices. If you decide to pass the credit report fee on to the customer, your Processor will bill them through closing and Amerifund will include the credit report fee reimbursement in your commission check. 

What am I responsible for as a Loan Officer?

To put it simply, we want you to ORIGINATE! With that in mind, we’ve built an experienced, structured operations team to support YOU and your business and allow you to focus on the thing you are best at – being a Loan Officer!   

Loan Officer Responsibilities:  

  • We guide you through all the steps needed to build your business.  Use our creatives, or design and develop your own marketing, advertising and prospecting strategy (all marketing materials must show all required licensing and company logo information and must be approved by Amerifund’s marketing department before finalizing).
  • Field all incoming leads and facilitate the loan application and supporting documentation. 
  • Review your client applications/documentation to determine their qualifications and provide guidance on the best loan options. 
  • Shop, price and lock your loans with one of our approved Wholesale Lenders. 
  • Send the complete file to the disclosure team who will prepare and send your disclosures, follow up for receipt and if your file is complete they will send it straight into the processing department for submission to the lender.  
  • No more chasing down conditions 
  • No more follow ups with the lender for status 
  • Spend your time doing what you love – networking, prospecting and originating loans!  

What systems and software does Amerifund use?

We use a customized CRM which has built in lead management automation to help you manage your database. This CRM is complimentary for Loan Officers who close at least 1 loan per month or 3 loans per quarter. 

Our Loan Origination Software ARIVE is also our Point of Sale system! This makes the customer experience seamless as they can apply and upload documents not only at the start of the loan but throughout the process without having to create a separate system login or email things back and forth.   The ARIVE LOS license is complimentary for Loan Officers who close at least 1 loan per month or 3 loans per quarter and includes a personalized loan application link and built in pricing engine for Lenders who are integrated with ARIVE. 

Additional pricing and loan presentation tools are available at an additional cost.  

Are there hidden fees or requirements?

Our loan officers appreciate that there are No hidden fees or profits. We are a mortgage broker with 100% transparency. We are not one of those companies that boasts about large commission splits and payouts only to discover that they nickel and dime your net check so that your commission is no different that if they would have just been honest about the lower split to begin with. What you see is what you get. Our Loan Officers are empowered with high commission splits and can price their loans with either Lender or Borrower Paid compensation at their discretion based upon the needs of the client. No “prior approval” is required.

Operations Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced mortgage operations manager to help us build, manage, and mentor a team of all-star mortgage processors as we expand into multiple states. The successful candidate will have experience in the mortgage industry as an operations/processing manager, a positive and motivational approach to productivity, and exceptional communication and training skills.   • Create a pipeline management process to forecast accurate home loan funding goals and metrics
  • Enforce adherence to all state and federal regulations, mortgage lending and underwriting guidelines, and RESPA requirements while verifying loan applications from prospective home buyers, creating loan files, and processing loan closings
  • Maintain a positive work environment by developing helpful relationships with additional team stakeholders: mortgage loan officers, mortgage servicers, underwriters, and mortgage operations manager/branch managers to ensure a smooth loan process
  • Lead, hire, recruit, onboard, train, direct, and manage daily activities of mortgage loan processors, processing assistants and all other team members

  • Multiple years (3-5) of high volume loan processing experience as a team lead in mortgage lending or mortgage banking, or at a credit union is acceptable; 3+ years management experience in mortgage operations preferably in processing management, or as a sales manager or operations manager is preferred
  • Experience with Google Suite, MS Office, as well as AUS and LOS software, are helpful
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, training, organizational, and time management skills are essential
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the mortgage industry, loan products and programs (FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, Jumbo, VA, USDA, etc.), and state and federal regulations and laws (RESPA, etc.)

Senior Loan Processor

Simi Valley, CA

Job Description

The Senior Loan Processor is responsible taking a home loan file from submission through closing. This includes analyzing and verifying credit, income, asset, appraisal, escrow and title documentation on purchase, refinance and home equity transactions to confirm that it meets investor guidelines. With the help of a Junior Loan Processor, the processing team is responsible for directly communicating with Clients, Realtors and our Loan Officers to gather and satisfy all loan conditions and move toward a timely closing. The role requires an excellent communication skills with a drive toward meeting contingency and closing deadlines while providing exceptional customer service to all parties involved in the transaction. Key attributes to success are the ability to multi-task, time manage, precise verbal and written communication skills and a working knowledge of all major investors and their guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review income, credit, assets and property information against investor guidelines to ensure eligibility for the desired loan program
  • Submit for loan approval and gather/review all outstanding loan conditions
  • Order loan documents and coordinate with third party escrow companies for a timely closing

Prioritize and monitor daily workflow in order to ensure all loans meet contractual contingency and closing deadlines with pro-active communication to referral partners and clients in accordance with company’s timeline expectations.

  • Work additional hours as needed.
  • Assume responsibility and ownership of the loans in your personal pipeline.
  • Stay current on all investor guidelines and program changes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • FHA/ VA experience strongly preferred.
  • Current knowledge of federal and state disclosure guidelines.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe, Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector.
  • Technology savvy- proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector. Current familiarity with Encompass 360 is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Advanced ability to analyze complex tax returns to accurately calculate income for all types of borrowers.
  • Demonstrate high volume productivity.
  • Must be detail oriented organized and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Must be a team player and work well with both Sales and Operations Staff providing utmost levels of customer service and an open line of communication.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong desire to help build relationships with Realtors and Borrowers

Mortgage Analyst

Job Description

The Mortgage Analyst position is a front line sales support role with direct communication with clients and realtors. The role requires an extremely outgoing personality with the ability to self-motivate toward results. Key attributes to success are the ability to multi-task, time manage, precise verbal and written communication skills and a working knowledge of all major lenders and their guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Track and manage new leads and follow up on referral business using lead management system.
  • Have initial discovery call with new clients
  • Send out request to client for loan application and documents needed to pre-approve a purchase loan and/or finalize a refinance loan.
  • Run credit report and review all documentation – including the accurate calculation of income for all types of borrowers on FHA, VA, Conventional and other loan programs.
  • Determine best financing options and communicate pre-approval decisions to clients and Realtors, including discussing rates and terms. This involves pricing and locking loans.
  • Disclose and submit complete files to processing based on lender guidelines.
  • Maintain constant communication with referral partners, clients and management
